That's how I feel
The idea's a farce
It's simply not real
But self improvement is good!
I can hear you all cry
Okay, I agree, but
I'm wondering why
If the change that you want
To make is so great,
Why is it you felt
The need to wait
To make it until
The new year arrived?
You see, that's the part
That feels contrived
Please understand
It's never too late
You can make resolutions
Whatever the date
And if it's for self-improvement
You thirst
You can even make them
On Jan. the first. ;-)
