Day 47: Opposites Attract

Had lunch with Rena today. This poem is 100% true! (Yes, even the part about seeing giraffes walking in the bathroom down the hall!)

Opposites Attract

Have you met my dear friend, Rena?
Sweet and funny as can be
She's short and round
And rather loud
But her smile's all you see

Miss Rena loves to keep giraffes
She's got them wall to wall
You'll even see them walking
In the bathroom down the hall

They say that opposites attract
And I believe it's true
Just think of Rena
And her giraffes
And you will see it too

For giraffes are very tall and lean
And quiet as a tree
So I'm sure you'll see just what I mean
As clearly as can be
Yes, I know you'll recognize
When you see the facts we've got
That in Miss Rena's eyes
Giraffes are everything she's not.
