Before anyone gets worried: Yes, I read this to my husband and got his permission before I posted it. He insists that the reason he doesn't talk much is because 99% of what he's thinking just isn't worth saying. He says that I have no reason to be concerned. So y'all can stop worrying now, okay?

On 99% of what he's thinking
And this sometimes makes me
Wonder if our marriage
Could be sinking
Is his silence merely
But a tool
To keep us safe from danger?
Or am I simply
Just a fool
And married to a stranger?
