Day 71: Bearing Fruit

Bearing Fruit

You can't elope
With a cantaloupe
It simply wouldn't be right
And you could never date
A date
That would be such a sight
I guess that you could prune
A prune
But I don't know why you'd care to
If you go bananas
For bananas
I might ask you to share too
Please don't pine
For pineapple
As that might make me cry
And if you choose to bury
A berry
I'll really wonder why

There are many things to do with fruit
And it's really hard to beat 'em
But lets not talk of "bearing fruit"
I think it's best to eat 'em
