My baby turned 7-years-old today. I figured that since most people buy cards that come with corny verse written by strangers, I could write my own corny verse just for her. So here are the two that I included in her card today. She read them herself, without any help, BTW. :-)

These days.
I know that's true.
Yes, now you're starting to grow tall.
What an exciting thing to do!
I'm proud of you in every way.
You're smart and sweet and kind.
So have a super birthday--
It's the best day to my mind!
