Candles

It isn't really very hard
To get a good clear handle
On why so many special days
Seem to involve a candle
A candle's flame burns
Very bright
To help us focus
In pure light
On important things
Without, within
To see where we are
And where we've been
So when it's time
To celebrate
A candle's light
Is always great
And when it lights
A path that's true
One day you'll find
The candle's you
