Song Without a Tune
By Batsheva 4/29/10
A poem is a song
Without a tune
Just as the sun
Reflects upon the moon
The moon provides no light
All of its own
And yet at night
Its light is clearly shown
Likewise a poem's melody
Is hidden
And yet at times
It can appear
Unbidden
To shine the light
Of its intrinsic song
Which truthfully
Was right there
All along
