Day 166: A Jewel

A Jewel

Some may find a dirty stone
And toss it to the side
And never even notice
The precious jewel inside

Another may discover
That grungy
Ugly stone
And think
Within it
There is light
That has yet to be shone

So that wise person
Takes that rock
To polish it with care
And in so doing
Picks the lock
To the gem
That's hidden there
