Day 191: Alone Time

Alone Time

It isn't that you don't matter
It isn't that I don't care
It isn't that we don't often have
Many wonderful things to share

It's simply that there are times
When I just need to be alone
No hanging out
No playing games
No talking on the phone

Just some time to be with me
And only my own mind
It helps me think more clearly
And relaxes me, I find

So please don't take it personally
And please don't take offense
It's just something I do
You could try it too
Then maybe we'd both be less tense!
