Sick in the Summer
By Batsheva 7/8/10
My throat is sore
My snot is thick
It means one thing
I think I'm sick
Being sick in the summer's
A miserable feat
When it's hot and it's humid
A fever adds heat
The thought is enough
To make you weep
When you should be out playing
You're in bed asleep
Yes, it's hard to imagine
A much greater bummer
Than the idea of feeling
So sick in the summer
