I'd rather be clever than not
I'd rather be healthy than ill
I'd rather eat food than a pill
I'd rather be happy than sad
I'd rather be peaceful than mad
I'd rather be wealthy than poor
I'd rather sleep calmly than snore
I'd rather be here than be lost
I'd rather not pay a high cost
I'd rather be free than a slave
I'd rather stay out of my grave
I'd rather you knew it was true
That I'd rather all this
