Babies
By Batsheva 11/12/10
They come wrapped up in bundles
These drippy, squishy things
But they're really tiny people
Just like cherubs without wings
They can be so loud and messy
But they're also awfully cute
And mom doesn't even yell
When baby spits up on her suit
I'd never get away with that
Not me--I'm much too old
But babies always seem to
'Cause they're little--so I'm told
Still, I wish that I could get away
With things that babies do
Though I guess that if I tried
They would call me a baby too
